Landscapes

Serralves Museum, Porto

26-27 October 2024

Landscapes is the latest act of cross disciplinary collective Tutto Questo Sentire, bridging video pieces and live performances to form a single set, involving musicians Kenichi Iwasa, Coby Sey, Akihide Monna and light artist Charlie Hope. Featured pieces include Genius Loci for string quartet and live electronics by Sandro Mussida, performed by Ars Ad Hoc Ensemble; Messengers film screening + a/v live set by Rebecca Salvadori featuring Kenichi Iwasa; GAISTER live, the encounter between experimental soprano Olivia Salvadori, producer and songwriter Coby Sey and drummer Akihide Monna.

Marking its ten years of activities and following its path of site specific interventions, the collective turns the Piso 4 (room 4, third floor) of the Serralves Museum, into a live set open to the public. Over the weekend Tutto Questo Sentire will present Landscapes in its original form as a single set (Saturday 26 October) and as a series of individual acts (Sunday 27 October). The rooms will feature a program of screenings, open rehearsals, and listening sessions, alongside a selection from the TQS archive, which will be available for the public to browse, read, watch, and listen to.

These two days at Serralves Museum provide an opportunity to reflect upon themes that have been integral to the collective's work over the years: the notion of tuning into the unique spirit of a place as the foundation for creative practices, the importance of nurturing collaboration and friendship, the concept of the archive as an organic and open platform.
